Diana: Well, I think we’re going to talk about podcasts today.
Justin: Right, this is not something I’m particularly into.
Diana: I’ve done a few podcasts, listened to, and I’ve even recorded a few.
Justin: Ooh, I didn’t even know that. So, what is a podcast?

Justin: Everyone knows what Google is, in one way or the other. You’ve heard Google. Many people know it for search.
Diana: Right, that’s how I started using Google.
Justin: Absolutely. But of course, then they started offering email.
Diana: Right.
Justin: Now, if you don’t have a Gmail account, you’re behind the times.
Diana: Right. I think everyone has Gmail, just about. If they have a business.

Justin: Yeah, I really hope not. So, there are new iPhones right now, the 5c and the 5s, and the 5c, everyone’s excited about because it gives you some color options: yellow, green, blue, pink and white. And we’re talking about this today because several people have actually emailed in asking us the differences between the 5c and 5s.
Diana: Yeah, which one they should get.
Justin: Right, yeah, so there’s all those color options in the 5c and then it’s a whole new look and feel to how you use an iPhone. It’s got the same operating system and everything as the 5s, however, you get a polycarbonate plastic case.
Diana: Right, so that’s different.

One of our awesome customers came to us with an issue: They work with an outside vendor that requires a .xls file with a specific structure. This was a departure from the structure used for many years prior. The XLS data was being exported from a database on a monthly basis, and restructuring the database was not an option. To solve this problem we created an Excel VBA Script to shift the data one column to the right based on […]

She’s is a lady of many hats. (And shoes, and handbags, and…well, you get the picture.) But really, Ms. Upton-Hill specializes in several things here – includingsocial media! For those out there who haven’t jumped onto the social media band wagon, could you give us a brief rundown of just exactly WHAT it is? Social media is basically any virtual “community” where you can interact with other people. It’s most often used by accessing an account on a website or by […]

Hello readers! I’m taking a series of long cat naps this week in order to be well rested for my wild adventures over the next few weeks. Until then, I bring you a poem of peace and serenity by Maya Angelou… “Amazing Peace” In our joy, we think we hear a whisper. At first it is too soft. Then only half heard. We listen carefully as it gathers strength. We hear a sweetness. The word is Peace. It is loud now. Louder than the […]

A musing on DEADLINES (and why no one should ever have to meet them, apparently.) I should think that a cat as brilliant as myself would be allowed the courtesy of a relaxed deadline here and there, but no – I am kept to a very strict standard as I write these weekly columns. Evidently I have a commitment that must be honored, therefore I have a deadline that helps remind/nudge/push me into meeting that commitment. Hopefully yours truly sets a […]
