Do I enjoy living at MPA?
June 7, 2013
This week’s question: Macy asks “Moire, have you ever gotten tired of living at MPA?”
Moire’s answer: Macy, thank you for emailing me this question. I deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness. As you know from previous writings I do get cranky at times when dealing with various MPA team members (especially that ridiculous COO, Justin). And sometimes I become relentlessly bored on the weekend when no one is working. Still, if I reflect carefully, I am reminded of the humble beginnings from which I came. You see, I was a cat without a loving home. Living with the uncertainty of not knowing where my next meal would come from, where I wasn’t treated to proper medical care, and even – at times – feared for my life. It was a humble beginning for me, and sometimes I forget how fortunate I really am. I was discovered, quite by accident, and brought here – to MPA – to be loved and adored by many.
I suppose the moral of my story is that we must always take time to reflect on our blessings. When I think about the life I was living before MPA I can easily purr and be content in knowing how fortunate I am to have a warm and loving place to hang my hat. Until next time, Macy, I invite you to take a moment to look around and discover the blessings in your life!
Fondest Regards,
