Justin: Welcome to MPA’s Tech Table. I’m Justin.
Diana: And I’m Diana.
Justin: And we’re your hosts. We’ll be serving up a heaping spoonful of all things tech.
Diana: We promise it’ll be easy to digest. Well, it is Friday, my favorite day of the week, and I think a lot of our listeners’ favorite day, too.
Justin: That’s exactly right. And you’re going to make me hungry today with this segment. I have a feeling. We’re going to talk about favorite snacks.
Diana: Well, why wouldn’t we?
Justin: Well, we’re a country of snackers.
Diana: That’s true.
Justin: Everybody loves a good snack and there are, if you go to the grocery store, thousands of varieties of snack foods and ways to snack, both healthy, not so healthy. So you went around the office as you oftentimes do.
Diana: As I do.
Justin: And asked everyone what their favorite snack food is right now.
Diana: Right now because it changes! It really does change.
Justin: Oh, absolutely. I go through phases. I’m big on phases. I’ll eat only this for a month and then never eat it again. You know?
Diana: Yeah. And honestly, right now around this office, this very day, it might be very different than when I took this survey last week.
Justin: That’s probably true.
Diana: Because we just got, one of our team members, well, Jody, her daughter, had a fundraiser for popcorn sales, and so almost everybody bought a variety of popcorn.
Justin: Oh, yes. Except for me.
Diana: So, we might all be changing our tune on this very day. So, yeah, I asked about everyone’s favorite snacks right now, and More, you know, I always ask him first. He gets a little irritable.
Justin: Yes, because More, he’s our cat at the office, and he enjoys the Pioneer Cat-Man-Doo Dried Bonito Flakes, is what they’re called. Yeah, you better Google that. Pioneer Cat-Man-Doo Dried Bonito Flakes.
Diana: And Cat-Man-Doo is three separate words.
Justin: It is.
Diana: C-A-T-M-A-N-D-O-O.
Justin: That’s right, and he says, “These are yummy in my kitty tummy.”
Diana: Oh, boy.
Justin: So, yeah, that’s More for you.
Diana: Yes, yes.
Justin: He always has more to say that anyone else.
Diana: He really does.
Justin: All right, and then we’ve got Jody in Design. She says that she likes apples with peanut butter. How all-American.
Diana: I like apples with caramel dipping sauce.
Justin: I like caramel dipping sauce. I like peanut butter. I could do without the apples.
Diana: Just the sauce, please.
Justin: Yes, absolutely.
Diana: Now, Nathan, Nathan’s one of our tech guys, he has been digging on sour gummy worms.
Justin: Yes, I come and go on my gummy worm consumption. Sometimes I really love the gummy worms. Sometimes I prefer them sour.
Diana: Yes, now do you prefer a worm to a bear?
Justin: Bears are useless. They are tiny and useless.
Diana: Oh, you ever had the big ones, the really big ones? Like, 16 inches?
Justin: No because that seems like a bad idea. Can you imagine that gummy bear in your stomach?
Diana: Oh, boy. Yeah.
Justin: That’s a huge gummy bear. No, but I prefer the gummy worms myself.
Diana: Yeah, now David. You know, David eats pretty healthy.
Justin: Here and there. He’ll have you believing that he eats healthy and then you see him eating a pizza. He tries, though.
Diana: Yeah. He likes Kind. That’s the brand, Kind health bars.
Justin: I don’t know anything about that.
Diana: I don’t, either. I’ve seen them, I think, at convenience stores.
Justin: There you go, all right, and then Chris in New Business Development and Programming. He likes, well, he says, “It’s summer, so ice cream.”
Diana: Ice cream, hurrah!
Justin: You know, my grandma would say you can have ice cream any time of the year.
Diana: I agree, grandma.
Justin: Yes, I know. I know you do, Diana! I know you do. And what’s your favorite snack right now, Diana? The popcorn?
Diana: I think yeah.
Justin: It’s always the popcorn for you.
Diana: Yeah, I like, I think popcorn is a good meal option.
Justin: Absolutely, and I like Pop Chips, which you can find in most health stores and they’re a little healthier than regular potato chips.
Diana: So, snack well, guys.
Justin: That’s right. Have a great weekend! Until next time.
Diana: Take care.
