Justin: Welcome to MPA’s Tech Table. I’m Justin.
Diana: And I’m Diana.
Justin: And we’re you’re hosts. We’ll be serving up a heaping spoonful of all things tech.
Diana: We promise it’ll be easy to digest. Hey.
Justin: Hey Diana. It is Friday!
Diana: Yes it is!
Justin: We are having a fun week here.
Diana: Oh my goodness.
Justin: You know, it’s, we’re sailing, cruising into summer.
Diana: Into summer.
Justin: Having a great time. Even our engineer, she’s just busting out over there, she can barely contain herself in the studio. We’re having a great time. So today’s Friday, we’re talking about Friday faves, which if you’re a Twitter person you use #FF for Friday Faves.
Diana: Yes you do.
Justin: So, today you, you know, you go around the office here saying what was something you loved doing or eating growing up that you wouldn’t think of enjoying now?
Diana: Yes.
Justin: And I said riding a bicycle. I loathe it. I was apparently in a great mood.
Diana: You were just feeling perky that day.
Justin: But riding a bicycle, I tell you, you know, I grew up of course, you know, on a bicycle. I had this really cool like blue bicycle, like this like mountain bike sort of thing and it had yellow accents, it was very like the rocket, it was very cool. Yeah, these days no. Riding a bicycle does not work for me.
Diana: Yeah, I still love riding bicycle.
Justin: I know, and I honestly fear that I’m going to get hit by a semi. I do. I have this tremendous fear that, I do! I have a tremendous fear of riding bicycles like out on the open, you know, on the high way or anything because I feel like I’m going to get mowed down. I guess that’s why I live in Amish country. The Amish are slower to mow you down.
Diana: Yes. Yes, yes.
Justin: Oh boy. I know, you’re rubbing your head, that means we should go on.
Diana: Yeah, Jody really used to like hanging out all day at a water park and not so much anymore.
Justin: Why not?
Diana: I don’t know.
Justin: That’s interesting.
Diana: Maybe she just feels like she’s got better things to do.
Justin: I guess so. There you go. David used to, oh dear, David says he’s the CEO of our company. He says he used to love starting fires and shooting firecrackers at each other.
Diana: Oh no. But he doesn’t like to do that anymore.
Justin: But that’s nothing that he’d do now, you know? That’s good to know.
Diana: Well, that’s good. That’s good.
Justin: A little disconcerting there.
Diana: Yes, yes.
Justin: Alright, Chris says something equally as violent. BB Gun Wars. We used to have BB gun wars. My goodness, this is scary.
Diana: Wow. Now John, this is pretty calm.
Justin: John from tech, he says I used to enjoy hunting with my father and little brother. I do not anymore.
Diana: Maybe it’s sad.
Justin: Well there’s gotta be a story there.
Diana: Yeah.
Justin: There’s gotta be a story.
Diana: To be continued maybe.
Justin: that’s interesting, yeah. And then Donny at the front desk says when I was little I loved eating syrup and bread. Nothing else, just those. Needless to say, nasty now. Syrup and bread though, I guess if you.
Diana: It’s like french toast.
Justin: And so, then, and then Nathan says he used to enjoy hunting as well and, but he enjoys, he agrees with John.
Diana: They don’t do the hunting anymore.
Justin: They don’t do the hunting anymore.
Diana: Well, you know, I kind of relate mine back to Donny, something you used to love eating.
Justin: Oh yes, you had some weird things you used to eat. I’ve heard those stories.
Diana: I still like to eat some of those things.
Justin: Well me too, my grandpa was a very strange eater. He would be eating pie, like an apple pie and onions at the same time.
Diana: Yeah, that’s a little different.
Justin: Yeah, I kind of do that same sort of thing but what do you, what do you do?
Diana: Well, what immediately comes to mind is I used to like to get a bowl of peanut butter and add chocolate chips to it and just eat that.
Justin: Wow. I put peanut butter, sometimes with marshmallows, put it in the microwave and it’s a little like, it’s kind of like peanut butter fudge.
Diana: It sounds great. Yeah, yeah.
Justin: Cause it gives the sweetness and then the marshmallow creaminess. It’s kind of like fudge, it’s like a bachelor’s version of fudge.
Diana: There you go.
Justin: Well, enjoy your Friday and have a great weekend. Until next time.
Diana: Take care.
