Justin: Welcome to MPA’s Tech Table. I’m Justin.
Diana: And I’m Diana.
Justin: And we’re your hosts. We’ll be serving up a heaping spoonful of all things tech.
Diana: We promise it’ll be easy to digest. It’s Friday. It’s Friday.
Justin: It is Friday and it’s Faves Day here at Tech Table.
Diana: We’re still in Apple week too.
Justin: We are still in Apple week and I think actually I’ve heard that Apple week is going to carry over a little to next week as well because there’s so many Apple topics.
Diana: That’s right and we get a lot of questions about Apple.
Justin: We do. Absolutely. But today is Fave Day which is exciting for everyone at the office because they get to tell us what they really love. Today we’re going to talk about favorite Apple stuff.
Diana: Stuff?
Justin: Yeah. So, Donnie, at the front desk at the office, says…
Diana: He’s a huge Apple fan.
Justin: He is. He is. He basically should work at Apple probably because he is a foremost Apple authority. He basically can go in to Apple and tell them what they don’t know.
Diana: That’s right. He tells random people, strangers on the street, what they could do with Apple if they look confused with their phone.
Justin: Absolutely. So, Donnie’s favorite thing is the Genius Bar at the Apple store and he says that you can learn a few things and be happy when you visit the Apple store.
Diana: I have a feeling he does a little bit of teaching at the Genius Bar too.
Justin: Probably he does. He likes the Apple store and likes to go in there. Usually I go in the Apple store and I usually taunt them but that’s just because I like to have fun with the Apple people frankly. I don’t know. Anyway, that’s who I am. You, you…
Diana: Me?
Justin: Yes, you, of course, are a music fan.
Diana: I’m always talking about music.
Justin: So you love iTunes.
Diana: Yes. Don’t you love iTunes?
Justin: I don’t use iTunes. No.
Diana: No, I love iTunes. I downloaded it several years ago when I got my first Shuffle, my iPod Shuffle. I just think it’s really easy to use and you can access all your music at once. I know there’s the whole cloud situation which I still haven’t quite got into yet but I will and now they have iTunes radio so…
Justin: Yeah, it’s incredible to me you just now keep all of your music on… Well, it’s up in the cloud now even.
Diana: It’s in the cloud and I can put it… If anything…
Justin: I’m so confused.
Diana: You can access it whenever wherever on any of your devices.
Justin: You know what I have? A CD. Yeah. You remember what those are? Yeah. I still have CDs. I love CDs and I still buy CDs so, you know, but I understand the importance of iTunes because you can take everything with you. I mean obviously we used to carry around these big bundles of CDs everywhere and we had like these CD booklets. Noelle is laughing, our engineer, she’s laughing because she remembers how many CDs that we all carried around all the time.
Diana: It was very important to have your whole collection.
Justin: That’s right. For Noelle, half of that was Striper. Anyway, I remember. That’s absolutely right. It still is. Absolutely. All right, so then, of course, food. We always talk about food in the MPA office. So, when we asked John what his favorite Apple thing was he said an apple… What is this? This is a Snicker Apple salad.
Diana: Yes, and he literally clapped his hands when I asked him. He was so excited about it. He says it’s terrible for people on a diet but it’s the best apple food ever. I’m just going to basically read the ingredients list. You’ve got milk, instant vanilla pudding mix, some frozen whipped topping, apples, of course, and Snickers candy bars or I guess any candy bars you want. But that’s what he suggested.
Justin: Great. So, that’s the Snicker Apple salad. Yes, actually, if you want that recipe why don’t you email us. Diana, what email address do we use?
Diana: You can email us at questions@askmpa.com.
Justin: That’s great. It says the prep time is only 15 minutes and it serves 12 so that’s pretty great. Until next time…
Diana: Take care.
Justin: Tech Table is brought to you by MPA of Bloomfield, Iowa, and God’s Country Radio. You can visit us online at askmpa.com.
